Rohana, It looks like City of Tampa does not restrict on basis of age.

"Children must be under constant supervision."

Here are the other rules"

Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and injuries caused by them.
Dogs must be properly licensed and wear ID tags at all times.
Owners must clean up after their dogs and immediately fill any holes their dogs dig.
Dogs showing aggression towards people, as determined by Parks Department personnel, will be removed from the park.
Dogs using the park must be at least 4 months old.
Dogs must never be left unattended.
Dogs "in heat" will not be allowed inside the park.
Dogs must be leashed before entering and leaving the park.
Dogs off their leash are limited to two dogs per person inside the park.
Rawhide and food not allowed inside the dog park.
Dogs are the only type animals permitted in dog parks.
Violators will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges.
Dogs must be under voice command at all times.

I used to bring my dogs to the Davis Islands beach dog park, but when people started bringing toddlers to the dog park and letting them play in the water amid bounding, excited dogs running and chasing each other, I quit going. I believe at the time there was some sort of signage about bringing children under 6 into the dog park, but I don't really remember because it's been several years. I should check it out again because it's a really nice dog park.

Wow what a dog park. <a href="http://dogbeach.org/index.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Huntington Dog Beach</a>

I see the only rules Huntington Dog Beach are:

1. Maintain control of your dog(s) at all times. Pick up after your dog(s) and dispose of the waste in the trash cans.

2. Under the existing city ordinance,13.08.070, dogs must remain leashed. However, for the past ten years only unleashed potentially dangerous dogs have been cited or removed.

3. ENTER DOG BEACH AT YOUR OWN RISK!"

Do you have a problem with children?

The only dog park we usually go to is Huntington Dog Beach and I don't recall ever seeing any rules about children. I'll have to keep my eye out for signage next time we go to the beach.

It's good to hear that the Parks Dept reacted quickly and got signs up to help notify dog park visitors of the safety rules for children.
