I'm a fourth generation Floridian with a love for
the land and the animals that inhabit it. I live in Lutz, Fl. with
my husband, Scott, a Jack Russell Terrier and a Catahoula Leopard Hound mix.
From early childhood, I've felt the need to process the world through art.
My education includes a BA in Studio Art from the University of South Florida,
but learning is a lifelong venture. My art focuses on animals and people, the relationships they share
and the ways they learn to adapt to the ever changing environment.
I've been doing portraits in pastel since 1993. They're
done in a very realistic, traditional style. My work in acrylic is a fairly
recent venture. Those paintings are done in a more whimsical style. I consider them an ongoing exploration.

are doing meaningful work in Florida with people and animals in need.
